Book 2: Hugh Howey's Wool

  • Jun 5, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

In June we’ll be discussing Wool by Hugh Howey, an epic dystopian fiction of survival and bravery. This book is available at Dymocks for $20 and $6 for the Kindle edition. Felicity (Flick) and LouLou have offered to think of some questions and discussion points for this book, but if anyone else wants to raise their own questions, feel free to do so.

To add, I will be collecting $1 from each participant at the meet which will go towards the $15 monthly administration cost. Any contribution above $15 will be saved until our Christmas meet for drinks and/or food for all survivors!

Guys my daughter is sick so I won't be coming tonight. So disappointed. I love this book and I hope you all have a great time discussing it.

Hey all. Looking forward to starting this one when i finish Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. But I wanted to clarify how much to read for this meetup. Wool appears to be a collection of 5 books as part of the Silo Series. I plan to read the 5 books, but book 1 of the 5 book anthology is also titled Wool, so wondered if we were supposed to read the first book or the anthology? To clarify: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wool_(series)

Read the 5 book anthology. Each book is relatively short.

Hey guys! I think reading just the first book for this meetup will be enough as we will be mainly discussing Wool. However, if anyone would like to also read all five of the Silo Series then that is completely cool.
