Creating Sacred Space With Mateo Magee

Powerhouse Education warmly welcomes Mateo back to the Bay Area - please join us.

Date: Saturday, January 18th, 2014

Time: 1:30pm – 6:30pm

Cost: $75

Location: Vara Healing Arts. 850 Talbot Ave. Albany, CA 94706

With the growing interest and desire for more apprenticeship-like teachings, we are excited to offer this “foundations” workshop on creating Sacred Space. This event is open to both the beginner and the adept alike. In addition to the experiential teachings Mateo has offered in the past, he will be distilling the core components of creating sacred space in ceremony, and everyday life, into 9 essential steps.  He will also be offering a breakdown for the optimal placement of ceremonial items used on the Mesa.  Time will be made, as well, to explore questions, and to tailor this workshop experience to the needs and desires of the group.  For those of you who have been craving more of the left-brained, practical and dialectical explanations of Peruvian Shamanism, this is an opportunity to explore.

More on the course:

For thousands of years, the spiritual traditions of Peru have been perfecting the art of creating transformational spaces for balance and healing to occur. This advanced system can be found through nearly every facet of this ancient culture. Whether it be the intentional design of their massive ceremonial cities, the functional irrigation systems they employed, or the interpersonal dynamics of their social exchange, this wisdom is found everywhere. This one-day intensive is an invitation to deepen in this ancient wisdom, and to dive into the vast potential of working with, and creating sacred space in your everyday life.

So good to meet you. It was a great day - more to come.
We hope you will consider the Santa Cruz retreat - the weekend will be intimate and should prove to be deep medicine. We will most have a waiting list, so if it calls- sign up sooner than later. :-)
