Meet people (women) with common interests. Very interested in learning and improving skills from a female shooter perspective. Also try different firearms and have fun while doing it.
Honor Flight volunteers at Dulles Airport. See Facebook "Honor flight at dulles" USO volunteer as well; manning the Dulles lounge, stuffing parties for the troops etc. Quilting; member of Centreville Quilters Unlimited and make Quilts of valor for our injured warriors. Learning about American Government, its history, laws and how it functions as well as Virginia State and its distinguished history. Avid reader of Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Brad Meltzer. Finally, I admit to being a "home improvement" wannabe, they make it look so easy on tv, but it's such a struggle in real life...still...got about 7 projects going.
No to self defense. Interested in it, however. Yes to shooting/gun safety classes. Last year, attended "Introduction to handguns" at Blue ridge with Mark Richardson, instructor. Also, "Basic firearms safety" and "Introduction to CC in Virginia" with Proactive Shooters, James Reynolds as Instructor. James is a good teacher, highly knowledgeable, deliberate and his classes are well structured. My spouse & I took Tina's shotgun class and had a blast, we're now extending our collection to include shotguns.
Live in Chantilly & I love shooting and the divas. Having a great time learning new skills and doing alot of diverse activities. Recently became a Range Safety Officer (RSO) with Tina's outstanding training.
