Description: This hike begins at the Burma Road Trailhead in Rancho Palos Verdes. This is a scenic hike with vast views of the ocean. There are many trails to choose from, which makes this hike great and very flexible to your experience level. No special equipment is required, but it does get chilly and hot, so dress in layers and bring plenty of water. Many of these trails are also mountain bike trails, so please be careful for mountain bikers as they tend to speed on the downhill.

We'll walk down the Burma trailhead and follow a few fireroad until we reach the street (PV Drive South. We'll then walk along the street and cross it, please use caution. We will go down the road to inspiration point (a cliff) and will take the "fun" trail down to the sea cove and tidepools. We may be able to spot some seals, sea lions, or dolphins, but definitely pelicans flying in formation. Then we will trek up hill back to Del Cerro park.

Rain may cancel

Thanks Jesse for joining me, and Millie for catching up to us and enjoying our WHAT (Weekend Hiking adventure Tours) with Jesse & Manny.

I went back after at 10 am from the McBride trail, after getting my coffee, to Abalone sea cove, then back up to Portuguese Bend and to the McBride trail where I parked. (Enjoy the teaser Sea Cove pictures)

Thanks Brian. We'll have more in the coming weekends and I'll try and post them ahead of time. This one was last minute and setup early to keep it small for testing/exploratory purposes.
