We are a group of practitioners who follow the teachings of the 85th Patriarch of the School of Chan, which is the Chinese lineage of Zen. Though Chan is often known as a Buddhist sect, the word actually refers to the true body of the universe, the source of all life and wisdom, of peace and joy.

The path we follow is simple and straightforward. Through the practice of meditation and mindfulness, we begin with deep relaxation, develop intense focus and awareness. We can then work on transcending our body and mind to eventually reunite with our inner spirit and the universal life force.

The journey can be an arduous one. It requires patience and dedication. Yet many of us have witnessed amazing things along the way, from the discovery of inner peace to improved health, from the joy of small awakenings in our day-to-day lives to the drastic transformation of our characters for the better.

We welcome all of you to join our practice, the journey becomes much easier when many people work together and help each other along the way.
