After our previous meetup in October'09, it had been quite some while since we have this gathering. How's your start to 2010? Hope you guys are still doing well!

I sincerely appreciate your SMS and email messages to have this meetup more often (need to source for convenient venue space). And this upcoming month on 22nd Jan, we are happy to have this meetup at a NEW venue sponsored by Hackerspace.sg
The agenda is pretty simple as follows for a free casual sharing session of music with one another:

6.45pm - 7.00pm Arrival of you guys (anybody interested in music!)
7.00pm - 7.25pm Networking (get to know fellow music players...interact and chat!)
7.30pm - 9.30pm Let us hear you (showcase your talents in music!)
9.45pm Wrap up, let's go for some good supper nearby Arab Street!

With the courtesy of the venue provider, the place is equipped with some basic speakers, a laptop, 2 microphones and 1 mixer. This is the first time we are holding it in a space which is really very cosy and I believe you will find it comfortable. Unlike previous meetups at open public locations, you will be able to be experience a closer feel this time round.

The venue is at 70A Bussorah Street (you will see a small glass door, just come in). Here's the map: http://www.streetdb.c... and the nearest mrt is Bugis. It is an approximate 10-15minutes walk away from Bugis. Walk past Raffles Hospital and towards Arab Street area at Kampong Glam. It is along Beach Road.

Let me know if anyone of you are willing to bring an electric keyboard and your personal guitar...but I saw from previous meetups most of you will bring your own guitar (no worries if you are not comfortable with sharing your equipments).

Simply come down for this gathering and display your music talents...share the music together. Do RSVP asap as there will be limited availability this time round. And yes, for our new members of this meetup group, this is all complimentary, no fees needed.

(p.s.** if you would like to perform, kindly arrive on time between 6.45pm-7.00pm as the registration for free-play will be on a first come first serve basis)
