We're running a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game: Battlegrounds event at Wandering Havoc every Saturday now! The format will differ from week to week, so please pay attention to the weekly meetup schedule, and we'll do our best to keep that up to date.

This week Brett will be bringing his version of the DC10 format to Battlegrounds. This will be swiss 1 on 1 tournament. No entry fee and no cards needed. We will be providing the cards to play with.Just bring yourself and your preferred method of damage tracking.

So how does this format work? 
We will place a deck of 100 cards between you and your opponent.
You each will draw 7 cards from the same deck.
You start with a 30 health no race/class/faction/spec hero
You both play of this one deck. Here is where it gets really interesting,
you both have UNLIMITED resources. That is right, no quest and turn one you could actually pay the cost of 60 for Deathwing the Destroyer. 
Wait, things would move way to fast you say. Don't worry, you can only play one card a turn. Make those choices wisely.

So to sum it up:
-Share a single deck between both players
-Generic Hero
-Unlimited resources
-One card play per turn

There is also a sealed variation of this that we may introduce at a later date.
