A most boring and disappointing meeting I'm afraid. The UKIP rep appealed to all the usual prejudices and was obsessed with the Mafia. Her argument (such as it was) was unstructured and ill informed and relied almost entirely on anecdotal "evidence". For the SPGB Bill M. seemed well below his usually high standard of public speaking and, in my opinion, made a surprisingly ineffective presentation of the party case for socialism. I left the meeting after only 40 minutes.

Ahhh.....will I ever attend another one? After being chastised by a “UKIP voting socialist” that my shirt was unethical, apologies to Ralph Lauren……obviously I’m ethically fucked.

Unfortunately I can't make it. There will be an audio recording made but if anyone can take a few photos as well that will be good for this site and elsewhere.
