Introduction

My name is Trey Stinnett, I'm 27, married, with a 5 month old daughter. I started my first company when I was 19. I racked up over $1mm in net worth through Real Estate when I was 21 and lost it all by 23. My current business is MassHQ.com.

What led you to libertarianism?

I met my wife when I was 23. I was a political climber, wearing a John McCain pin, and she was an intelligent, well-informed, Ron Paul supporter. As I began to learn more about what was really going on, my desire to climb became less prevailent and I began to seek trugh. I attended over 100 tea parties selling T-Shirts and developed a general dissatisfaction with my parent's generation of political influence (you know the 50 yr old TEOCON types?) I began with Ayn Rand, moved onto Mises, Hayek, and started atttending courses by the Foundation for Economic Education and the Ludwig Von Mises Institute and haven't stopped. I'm not a full-out anarcho-capitalist and prefer to only do business with people who understand the ideas of objectivism, libertarianism, and non-agression.

What kind of entrepreneurial projects are you working on, considering or interested in?

I own MassHQ, Inc. I have two business partners. We make custom products (swag) for organizations and businesses as well as build and manage webstores. Some of our sites include: RonPaulSwag.com, Conservative.org, and Econstories.tv. I also own Centre Tree Contracting, we basically do re-construction after natural disasters in Texas. Lastly, I own Centre Tree Investments and we buy and sell mobile homes. I also dabble in stocks, precious metals, and trading just about anything I can get my hands on that has some decent arbitrage.

What kind of special knowledge, talents or expertise can you share with the group?

I'm well versed in Austrian theory, free banking, libertarianism, and have business knowledge in real estate, web development, asset protection, credit repair, and retail. I'm also a huge fan of networking.

What do you hope to learn more about from the group?

Who out there is like me :)

Why is freedom important to you?

Without freedom, property cannot exist. Without property, my passion cannot be quenched. Without passion, I cannot live. Therfore freedom is my life.
