Beyond The Mystical Journey: Reflection and Experience

What is a “mystical” experience? Come join us in exploring the possibilities of the mystical aspect of the mind. I will shortly lecture about the “mystical” and explain in vivid detail, what it means to me. We will then have an opportunity to commune and reflect on our own journeys and share the passion of our own unique experience. Once we have opened the chakra channels of communion as a group, we will take advantage of the intrinsic energy and reflect it back inward through a powerful group meditation. In order for this unique experience to fully be explored, all participants must be willing to do just that, participate.

This is a very interesting topic to say the least. Religion; one of which, I myself have questioned, time and time again. It takes deep understanding not only of the mechanics of a religion, but of the purpose. Religion is an institution and like all institutions, it too is corruptible. Not because of the doctrine, but by those behind it. Most world religions are based on blind faith. This gives the “ones” in control absolute power over the “blind” masses who in turn succumb to the whims of those in control. They achieve this control by spreading fear. Fear used to maintain the social order as in any other institution. Most religions paint an image of the “Godhead” as wrathful and omnipresent. This leads to the subconscious notion of being watched and judged by our actions. The illusion of “burning in hell” is one of great power and dictation over the masses.

You are correct religion has served very well for some in time of need. It can be a great light and guidance. I have studied many world religions seeking answers and bits of truth in each. They all have great things about them as well as downfalls. My mission is to go beyond the teachings of set rules, beliefs and dogma into a system of self awareness and realization. This is the lost or hidden message behind Jesus’ true religion. There is much to be learned in scripture of all faiths, but there is also a lot that has been removed to fit the needs of others. We certainly need to investigate this further, it’s a great subject. Everyone must keep in mind that we are here to learn from each other, we will all have our own formulations and opinions. None are more important or self-evident than others. Please do not feel bad for your comments and by no mean should you delete them, unless they have directly offended someone. This is after all an open and free discussion.

The meetup will be held in meeting room "A" this time. It's the first room to the left as soon as you walk in. It will NOT be in the board room like last time.
