Hi! This session we will focus on the five main vowels of English, with particular emphasis on the main starting vowel. We will work to find the basic mouth shape of Standard English using some simple counting exercises, followed by some exercises to bring the voice forward. We will then look in detail on how the five main vowels are formed with a particular focus on lip shape and tongue position before moving on to some simple diction exercises.
