The Center for Japanese Studies (CJS) is hosting the annual Japanese Language ProfiencyTest (JLPT) on December 2, 2012. Nearly 300 people are expected to take the test which will be administered in Mason Hall. CJS is looking for people who are not taking the test to help make things run smoothly. The event volunteers should be available to attend a brief training session on Saturday, December 1st (~2-4pm). Please see the details below for more information.
Morning Event Volunteers
Duties: move desks, tables, and chairs to prepare the rooms for the test; hang signs; etc.
Number of Morning Volunteers Needed: 8
Afternoon Event Volunteers
Duties: greet test-takers; direct "traffic"; monitor areas; clean-up; etc.
Number of Afternoon Volunteers Needed: 8
