Dear South East Michigan Japanese Language Meetup Members and Friends,

This Sunday, June 2nd, at 3:00 Itaru Inoue, our Meetup Organizer, Jose Vites, one of our Members, and Myself will be singing in the White Pine Glee Club Men's Japanese Chorus at Faith Covenant Church in Farmington Hills.  The Church is located at Drake and 14 Mile Roads.  The doors open at 2:30.  The concert and refreshments are free and there is sure to be lots of yummy Japanese food.  I have been practicing for this concert since the beginning of January.  We will sing mostly Japanese songs and some American songs scattered throughout.  There will be 20 to 30 male singers wearing black tuxedoes and black suits.  There will also be a performance by a small Japanese women's chorus and a Koto performance, which is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument played by Japanese women wearing Kimonos.
These performances are traditionally only once a year in the spring.  I have attended at least 3 of them in the past years and they are very well done and very entertaining.  This is my first year to perform.  I hope to see many of you there.  It will be wonderful with beautiful music and lots of fun.
Please see the attached poster below and give me a call or text if you have any questions.

Hope to see you there,

Andy
