What: May Meetup idea: FREE Japanese Confectionary and Tea Ceremony Demo in Novi

Why don't we go to this FREE Japanese confectionary demonstration in Novi on Sunday, May 16th, from 11am to 1pm. Those who are interested can buy Japanese candy (wagashi), including mochi. And afterwards, those who are interested can go out to lunch at a Japanese restaurant.....Here is the information and I will send out a group email and post a file on the Meetup site with the .pdf poster.

Michigan Shiga Sister State Board is going to have the Wagashi demonstration event in May.
We will also have the tea ceremony at the same time so you can taste Wagashi with drinking authentic tea:)!
The Wagashi master, Mr.Shoji Nishizawa who received the Top Excellence Award at National Confectionery Expo 2008, is invited for this event.

No charge of the event.
You can also buy Wagashi including Sakura mochi at Novi Civic Center on May 16th
