A small group of experienced gamers looking to expand membership into their group. Meets on Sunday in Virginia Beach, casual atmosphere, good friends and alcohol. Members of the group are all veteran players with at least a year or more of experience in various systems. Looking for open minded players seeking a challenge and to test their roleplaying skills and abilities with a pretty cool group. This meetup is to introduce like-minded individuals and expand ties in the Hampton Roads gaming community, so come on out even if you already have a game group. If you have questions or comments call 450-4062 and ask for Virgil.

This is just another general Meet and Greet for the Southside Hampton Roads Roleplayers Meetup group. Bring your gaming group, talk about RP games. Find a GM or players.. There arent as many gamers out there that are still playing pen-and-paper games it seems, and the books are dwindling off the shelves at many local shops. Come on out and network to meet others that are still interested in this hobby!

Because everyone likes to go to another reality sometimes(and kill stuff), and you can watch me/laugh at me while I fumble through my first DMing session.

This is intended to be a general meet and greet for the southside hampton roads roleplayers meetup group. Details of the meetup are to be discussed on the forums. **EDIT** The location has been chosen and is as listed, at Panera Bread on Constitution. The meetup has been updated to reflect this change. We are going to try to occupy the back cove of the restaruant. Internet access is available for those who wish to bring laptops. **EDIT** If you are able to come out on Friday night, please RSVP as we can more accurately gauge a location based off expected attendance. This is a good opportunity to meet other pen and paper gamers in the community, so if at all possible try to make it out. Feel free to bring others with you, but please include an estimate of attendees on your RSVP. Looking forward to meeting some of you -Rick

Hello every one. My name is lance-alex. Id like to game at least once a week but we have a forumn with the majority rules as the premise as far as the schedule. As far as gaming. Im hosting a 3.5 or d20 greyhawk campaign starting at lower level modules and building up. i may incorporate other modules or short stories from outside resources and blend them into our grey hawk campaign at various times. Every one should roll four (6 sided dice) and throw out the lowest number. Right now most stats that characters have are in the 7-16 range with one or two players having a 17 or 18's in a stat. I like to play fair games, no super soldiers . Cheating only takes away from good gaming and if stats are absurd trust me when i say that the character in question wont last long. Other than that i am a very light hearted and soft spoken guy. I like to laugh and enjoy others who are writty. The greyhawk campaign is fairly new to me and I have been familiarizing myself with it ahead of time. I welcome any advice any one would like to give. I have no serious rules or ristrictions other than that anything that disrupts from others enjoying a good and balanced game will be excluded from play. If we disagree hold it until a break or after the game . We will figure it out after. But arguing and looking up rules and restrictions takes away from our time to enjoy and have fun. I have dice, books, cd's and resources for any one to use. Some days i will provide pizza but some times i may not be able to . Others are more than welcome to byo food or contribute. If my dm'ing is not up to par im a very humble guy and have no problem playing as a pc or switching up with others who want to GM. My email address is coast9@aol.com and my cell phone is 757 575 2277. It is a buisness cell but any one is free to call or text any time if there are any questions for me. Lets have at it. Tavern Fights, Drawven ale, Elven burial tombes and Gnomish tinker toys. Let the adaventure begin!

Depending on how things go on Friday, this will either be a chance for people to wrap up character creation / provide me with their characters OR the first actual game session if everyone has finished up their characters & we have enough of the group together. This meetup will be held at the same place as Pre-campaign Session 1 (TBD by Tuesday at the latest). If you haven't figured out by checking PCS 1, the location is my place. Final plan for the event is Char Gen for Katie, Michael and Kelly (as necessary) and a simple hack-n-slash game with the characters to help people (particularly myself) remember how to play 3.5. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

A chance for the people planning to participate in my upcoming 3.5 Faerun DnD campaign to char-gen. At this meetup group, I'll also provide print-outs and a verbal rundown of the campaign's starting setup (what's happened in the immediate area, where the party members are going to start, brief background on the area. The kind of fun little things that some people like & other's toss out. I won't be offended if you're not that interested & just want a chance to hack things apart.) Please, park on Pleasant Valley, Pickett or Piney Branch, parking in front of and behind townhomes is for residents. This meetup is open on a first come, first serve basis. You do not have to have attended last Friday's meetup to attend this one. Please review the "Andrew's Campaign Group - 3.5 DND" Forum.
