Meet and Greet event 2.0

"Hey all! It looks like other than myself, there are some new people that are bringing some life back here! Maybe there should be a new meet & greet event and let's organize a game or something?..."

Which is your favorite version of D&D?

"3.5 is still a much better system to me than 4th as well. 4th feels like a tactical boardgame, not DnD. I played about 5 sessions with a cleric in 4th. While looking over "abilities" i discovered things like cure minor..were DAILY powers? wow....."

Who is your favorite God(ess)

"You know Ander.. I really wish I could add to your discussion, but it seems that for so long now the games I have been involved with lost that "flavor" you are talking about...."

What are your favorite monsters

"That is exactly why it it is imperative that players play thier characters experience, not off table knowledge in games. I've tried NOT to memorize different monsters strengths and weaknesses so it doesnt influence what I do in game...."

What is your favorite D&D boxed setting

"I think most of my experience was in Forgotten Realms, 2nd ed. My experience with ravenloft was that it turned into a character generator, because of so many deaths lol. Never got to play in Greyhawk, although I had the boxed set years ago...."

What is your favorite Alignment?

"LN I prefer when playing a Monk, as LG has to many restrictions to it...."

"You know.. Wow..1st ed. I cant even think of how to play that now. But if you have room for me, I'd LOVE to re-learn it, and your group sounds like ALOT of fun!..."

What is your favorite race?

"I have to say I have played Human Monks here lately alot. I just like how balanced they are with saves, and thier potential later on in levels."

"I would have to say my favorite monsters.. Are the ones I have just vanquished. End of story. :)"
