I'm training to be a psychoanalyst and am particularly interested in the intersection between psychotherapy and Buddhism/mindfulness
. I'm learning to work and play in the present in my studies and my life.
Finding deeper and deeper meaning in life and everything I do.
We are all on a spiritual path, whether we call it that or not. I have been working on deepening myself and my capacity to be present my entire life.
The inward path has often been a lonely one for me. I need to meet some people to be my mirrors and support, and I've got plenty to offer myself.
I research health conditions and foods, and am working on losing weight.
Vegetarian, and kind of crazy about recycling :)

Hello, I'm sorry that I have a previous commitment that I can?t change to attend this meetup! Thank you for following up!!
Hi Vanessa, thanks for responding back. Just keep me posted for future meetups regarding bereavement and healing groups. I see you like Qigong. Love those exercises too. A little hard to find here in Staten Island. Let me know if there is something in brooklyn. Thanks. Hope to meet one day
hi vanessa, sorry to be so tardy in answering you. I think you could definitely combine acupuncture and emotional type of healing, psychtherapeuti
c work. I wasn't sure how you wanted me to help you, were you looking for a conversation, a session, interested in class. Anyway, let me know. Again sorry for the delay in answering. And yes, people are always looking for the fix but we need to turn it back to them. I wouldn't give up acupuncture. hugs, lisa
