We've got a good core of people, I'd like to expand it to turn the meetups into more of an event. So here's what I'm thinking.

- We'll provide some food for everyone who RSVPs.
- Talk with people about what kind of gaming they're doing, what they're looking for.
- Talk about what we can do to help grow the meetup group.
- Discuss activities we could plan other than play a one-shot RPG game.

From there, we'll start the scheduled one-shot RPG game as usual. Everyone is welcome to come and watch, or bring some card games in case we get too many for one game. Hey, I'm always hopeful!

Anyway, I hope to see everyone there on Thursday the 21st!

Wow, this one really filled up on me! I'm going to prepare 8 characters, and if there's any overflow I'll ask for volunteers to play a board game instead. Those that do will be guaranteed a spot to game next month. I have A Touch of Evil and Arkham Horror, and other folks have some other games as well. We'll figure it out. I will have pizza for ten people. You're on your own for drinks, but Paul has them for sale in the shop. Looking forward to it!

Also, don't feel like you invited yourself. Everyone here wants to meet new gamers, the meetup games are open invitation! Also, I notice we have six players, but feel free to sign up if anyone else wants to play. I can make a couple more characters, or we can bring some other games. Hanging out is the most fun part anyway. :)

The one shot is chosen by poll. If you go to the polls section there's several things that people have offered to run, you can vote how much you'd like to play each one. We play the winner! Currently in the lead is All Flesh Must Be Eaten, a zombie survival game. Great for one-shots. You don't need to bring anything but yourself, maybe some dice. There's a thread on the message boards that talks about the different games in a little more detail. Feel free to check them out!

  “ "All Flesh Must Be Eaten" is a good game. Great for one-offs, but seems to be a bit of a stretch for anything long term. But, honestly, I think I like the idea of using the meetups as one-off's and going from there on anything more long-term campaign-ish. All in all, though it was fun. Especially shutting down Eric's many advances. ”
