Meetup for November. October was the awesome Halloween Cthulhu Live game, and we'll be sure to do some Christmas stuff next month. November is the start of Winter, Thanksgiving, and a good time for gaming! There will be a thread in the message boards, so if there's something you want to run or play, just let up know!

Time to plan the next meetup!

I have several things I'd love to run. Inspectres, the Ghostbusters reality TV game. Dogs in the Vineyard, Moral cowboys in a fictional west. Don't Rest Your Head should be here in time, a game where the PCs are insomniacs, and after a week or so have become truly Awake. The Shotgun Diaries is a fast-paced zombie survival horror game.

Board games could go into rotation now. A Touch of Evil and Last Night On Earth need a play I think.

The idea has been mentioned before of a GM workshop day, where the experienced GMs talk about their thoughts on gaming and take questions from other GMs.

Lol, at least those who want to be. :)

It was requested at one point, and if there's enough interest something that I think would be fun. :)

I like the idea of a GM workshop. I'm a skilled GM, but I never have the time to run anything right now, especially now that I'm working nights...

I thought everyone was a GM?

I'd really like to try out Dogs in the Vineyards, but I'll be out of town for Thanksgiving. You bastards.

My mom is likely to be staying with me that weekend so I don't know if I can make a meetup.
Bummer.

If I do make it, my vote is for a Turkey themed game!

Well, one advantage of the two slots is you could always play one and skip the other. :)

Turkey-Dread, with the PCs playing turkeys in a farmhouse, trying to escape before Thanksgiving. Tower goes over, Farmer John comes out with his axe.

Fuck, now that I said it I'm going to have to run it, aren't I? :P

That actually sounds really fun.

Do something along the lines of Chicken Run, where we are planning our escape.

Anytime the tower falls, the hand of God...errr Farmer John reaches down plucks the victim up and shoves them into the machine Sarah Palin style.
