Hello Everyone,
Our first mysql user group meeting is coming on Thursday at 4PM. The location is AOL office building: 41B:A01
That is building 4, first floor, A side and Room A01.

For outside AOL employees: I will be at the conference room a few minutes before 4PM so that I can assist you to get access to the conference room.

Agenda:
(1) Socializing
(2) Ted Cahall, General Manager, AOL will kick off the meeting - subject to his availability.
(3) Craig Sylvester, MySQL Systems Engineer - Federal will present MySQL performance and tuning. A discussion on performance and tuning issues will follow-up the presentation.

(4) We will decide the frequency of this user group meeting and location of the meeting as well.
(5) We will discuss how should our user group meeting should be formatted so that we all can get benefited.

(6) Experiences from members on open source databases or related topics. But it would be great if any thoughts are listed ahead of the meeting. I would appreciate if you can come up with issues/problems and discussion items that we can discuss in the meeting and possibly followup later. Please email me ([address removed]) or post on the meetup message board and just cc me.

The next meeting will have a presentation on "Open source databases data warehousing and Business Intelligence".

If you can, please bring any snacks and/or drinks.

Thanks,
Jagan Reddy
