I've noticed a wave of new members who mention they are looking for help with camera handling. I'm sure a few of us can pass on some technical knowledge.
I have initially set the attendence at 5 beginners. If we get some interest from more experts within the group to join us we can expand the group. Please only RSVP if you are a complete beginner looking to get away from the green square for this session. We can look at running some more advanced sessions at a later date.
In this session we will cover:
1) What the 3 main adjustments to captured exposure are.
2) How exposure is measured by your camera
3) Examples of the ranges of shutter speed and aperture selection and the effects they give.
4) How changes to focal length affect the relative size appearance of objects in the frame
Bring along your camera of any type but please prepare by finding out which buttons to press to make the adjustments to ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed. If you have the manual to your camera, bring that with you. And charge your batteries! ;-)
