User Stories @ Silicon Valley Storytellers Meeting

Get your Sharpies and sticky notes, because it's User Stories week!

User Stories are descriptions of a proposed product or feature, from the point of view of the user. They serve to guide discussion about how the product or feature should be created.

A common user story template is:
"As <my role>, I want <feature> so that I can <benefit>."

Of course, no one says the product has to be realistic, or that the discussion has to be businesslike. This is Toastmasters!

The Silicon Valley Storytellers is an advanced club for Toastmasters, where members focus on story creation and delivery. Our members bring prepared speeches, or engage in story development exercises. It’s fun, lively, and entertaining!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
