The Storytelling Tree is event, held about once a month, at which anyone can sign up to tell a personal story about themselves. Stories can run from 5-7 minutes. You cannot reserve a place in advance to tell a story, but you can sign up at the door. Every time The Storytelling Tree meets, no storytellers are turned away. Everyone can share their story.
The roots of The Storytelling Tree are at a rowhouse in Charles Village, a block away from Wyman Park and the Baltimore Museum of Art. First time? When you RSVP for an event you'll receive the address. The Storytelling Tree can also be found at www.facebook.com/pages/The-Storytelling-Tree/.
All events are BYOB and free of charge. Cash donations are accepted at the door to cover Meetup.com's bi-annual organizer fee and other costs associated with keeping The Storytelling Tree.
