Hi Victoria

As I mentioned at my juicing demo, the best juicer is one that you can use easily every day.  The Jack LaLane as well as the juiceman machine produce large amounts of juice are easy to clean and cost less than $100.  The Champion cost much more is less efficient but is more versatile.  Using a blender with a straining cloth is inconvenient and not efficient for making large amounts of juice plus you must add water and this dilutes the juice.

I just spent a lot of time researching juicers. The comments on Amazon.com are not favorable for this machine. I had an opportunity to buy a new one for $20 and passed. The best rated low end on Amazon is the Waring.

I think juicers are very inefficient unless you have a really high end one. I just put carrots and apples in a blender, then strain the juice. I get much more juice, with much less waste. Also, if you don't mind a thicker consistency, there's certainly nothing wrong with drinking the pulp.

i have a question. just getting into all this in a serious way( never too serious) . a while back i bought a jack la lane juicer advertized on the glowy tv machine- it arrived in a dusty box marked made in china- now i'm afraid to use it- some friends got one and hate the juice, but it might be their issue, not the juicer; i was trying to save money rather than buy the champion. i know juicing anything is probably better than nothing, but is anyone aware of specific problems with this product?i

Hi all your raw foodists. I just purchased a Larabar bar JOCALAT and is 90% raw, vegan, no added sugar, organic, chocalate mint flavor.

Also, I found a new powered raw organic from Garden of Life. This has raw energy for you to enjoy in a drink. I am trying this out because of the raw organic juice blend, raw organic fruit and veggie juice blend, raw organic sprout blend, raw organic probiotic and enzyme blend. This is only for times that you can not do juicing for your meals away from home. The best thing a person can do for your health is for juicing at home with a good juicing machine.
