The new feature for the month of February is on the Cherry. Archeologists have found the pitts of cherries in places where man have used for home or place to stay for the night. Cherry tree is a part of the group of fruit trees that includes the plums, peaches, almonds, and apricots. And has lovely blossoms and woods and the cherry has also been for being a prized fruit. Cherries are found to be rich in antioxidants and a cholesterol-lowering compound called beta-sitosterol. Also Melatonin in cheries found to affect sleep and an anti-aging supplement. cherry juice is good for a person, retains the antioxidants and melatonin. They are free of sodium and fat plus cherries have 90 calories and 3 grams of fiber. they are only good up to 3 days in the refrigertor and stored in a bag to be eaten without soft or brown spots. in the the Shakepeare play"a Midsummer Night Dream" Bard associates cherries with love and romance.
