Song Dong: Waste Not Exhibition

The Song Dong: Waste Not exhibition is the work of one of China's pre-eminent artists displaying the entire contents of his mother's house following the death of his father. The installation is meant to represent the hardship and grief suffered, but also the remembrance and celebration experienced.

This exhibition is being held at CarriageWorks. We will meet at 5:30pm and wander through the exhibition till closing at 6:00pm. Afterwards we will meet back out side under the undercover shelter and go to The Royal Hotel for a quick drink.

Due to the small size of the exhibition, numbers are limited. So please RSVP ONLY if you are coming. If you are unable to make it please update your status to give everyone an opportunity to make arrangements.

Please note: No tripods are allowed!!!

In addition to the meetup, I will also be giving a short tutorial prior to the meetup on Low Light Photography. This will be ideal for this event where indoor and low light conditions can make photography difficult. This tutorial is suitable for anyone with a camera (high end DSLR to point n shoots). Cost is $5. If interested, please meet at the same location outside CarriageWorks under the undercover shelter at 5:00pm.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
