We plan will be to first start of with a short tutorial for action sport photography at 8:15am. We will meet at the step of Customs House Library. This tutorial will provide some tips to capture motion blur panning shots (see one of my images below from a previous meetup), which will no doubt be used for this event. This tutorials is more suited to cameras with manual functions. Prior understanding of the basics photography terminology should be known to get the most out of the tutorial. The cost for this tutorial is $5 to be paid on the day.
For those just coming to the race, meet at steps of the Customs House Library at 8:45am. Please arrive on time as we will immediately disperse to suitable locations in order to get a vantage point amoungst the crowd. The race will last around 20-30mins whereby the will do 2 loops of the Circular Quay circuit.
Afterwards we will meet back at Customs House Library once the race has finished to check out each others photos. To keep the transport theme going, I will be hosting the CARnivale classic car display meetup straight after this event so stick around for that as well.
