Welcome to the Tampa Bay Dog Lovers Group!

The Tampa Bay Dog Lovers Group was founded because, at the time, no other all-inclusive dog groups existed in the Tampa Bay area. All dog-related meetup groups were tailored to specific breeds.

We believe all breeds should be welcome to socialize and have fun together! The purpose of this group is to provide pup-friendly activities so dogs and their owners can enjoy the sights, food and fun that Tampa Bay has to offer.

Our goal for the Tampa Bay Dog Lovers Group is three-fold:
1. to plan events at dog parks in order to socialize our pups in a safe and fun environment,
2. to plan events at dog-friendly venues in order to socialize our pups and provide entertainment for pup owners,
3. and to support local no-kill shelters and rescue organizations by informing members of fundraisers.

Not all members will be interested in all events, but we hope that by including all three types of events, we will be able to meet the needs of the majority of our members.

Please take note: If your pups are not well socialized or are aggressive, you may need to enroll them in obedience classes before they attend a TBDLG event. With that being said, you know your dogs. Use your best judgment when deciding whether your pups are ready to be a part of this well-behaved group.
