"She who is centered in the Tao can go where she wishes, without danger. She perceives the universal harmony, even amid great pain, because she has found peace in her heart." - Tao Te Ching, 35

This group is for women who are interested in learning about and practicing Taoist principles in their daily life. We explore the Tao principles through the Tao Te Ching, a 2500 year old Chinese manuscript that prescribes a path to living one's life. Here is a list of some of the things we will discuss during our group meetings:

- How can the Tao be a tool for helping us live to our greatest potential?

- What insights can the Tao bring to our lives as mothers, daughters, aunts, grandmothers, nieces, sisters, girlfriends, etc.

- How can living the Tao help us to discover, create, and use our authentic power?

- In what ways can using the Tao help us understand our roles as women in society?

- How can the use of Taoist principles help us to be better partners, spouses, friends, siblings, workers, leaders, etc.

I have studied the Tao for the past eight years and have found that it is quite profound in many ways. Here are some of the ways it has helped me to navigate through life's challenges and opportunities:

- To let go of judgment and biases

- To see that the world is full of paradoxes, and this is okay

- To stop pouring when the cup is full

- To pay attention and trust the inner wisdom

- To accept oneself as perfect

- To be present in the moment

- To live every day with compassion

- To trust the process and that everything has its timing

You don't need to know about the Tao or even to understand it to join the group. All we ask is that you have an open mind, are willing to share who you are, and willing to be open to new possibilities.

Let's explore this manuscript and its universal principles to be the best we can be!
