Finally, there is a perfect way to start sailing, right here in the heart of America’s Sailing Capital, Annapolis Maryland.

The Tiller Club at the Chesapeake Sailing School creates their sailing experiences around social events, so along with starting a new adventure, you are also going to be meeting new people. Best of all, our events are structured in a manner that truly let’s you do it your way. No yelling. No screaming. No pressure.

The Tiller Club has adventures from day sailing and racing on a 22’ Tanzer, all the way to crewing on a 35’ racing sloop, to seeing Annapolis at its finest on a 68’ Schooner.

But, The Tiller Club doesn’t stop there… As part of the Chesapeake Sailing School we offer lessons from Basic Sailing all the way to Advanced Coastal Crusing on a sailing yachts from 22' to 40', monohulls and catamarans. Check out current course offerings at www.sailingclasses.com

On those days where you feel like testing your skills the Tiller Club has races right in the heart of Annapolis Harbor every Thursday evening! The Tiller Club’s races are done in a friendly environment where along with the sailing, the best part is the cold beverage after the race.
