Welcome, Tomball Bookworms!

Meet kindred book lovers in a local Meetup Book Club! Fiction or non-fiction, paperback or hardcover, you'll read at least a new book every month. Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends! Aside from being "just" a book club, we are also somewhat social, so don't be shy!
Part of the purpose of this bookclub is to go beyond our "comfort zones" with the books we enjoy and to expand our horizons where literature is concerned. You may just learn that you love a genre that you never considered before! Anyone that loves books is welcome.
** Upcoming plans for the fall include a few book club meetups and attending a few movies (we have already seen Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). We are going to try to see "New Moon", from the Twilight Saga. Also, in December, the movie adaption of Alice Sebold's "The Lovely Bones" will be released, and this might be something we want to see, also. You can see more here:

**We will be having a "Twilight" meetup after Halloween and we will decide at that time whether we want to brave the theaters to see this movie.

We are all adults, and we will all be expected to conduct ourselves as such. But just in case there is any question, the following will not be accepted or tolerated:

~General bad behavior, malicious gossip, drama and histrionics.
~Excessive use of alcohol or any use of drugs during a Meetup.
~Attending a Meetup for the sole purpose of promoting/advertising a business or business venture.
~Inappropriate behavior such as sexual harrassment.

!!**Everyone is expected to pay for themselves, when we have meetups where payment may be required.**!!

**Not everyone will get along with everyone else all the time, and when that happens, we shall just agree to disagree.**
