I enjoy music more when I listen to it live, so I joined this group.
Richard Feynman wrote a book 'Lectures on Physics' in 1963 which is supposed to be pretty good.
There is another book called 'Six Easy Pieces' that takes 6 easy chapters from the Lectures book. That would probably make for an interesting evening's discussion?
Maybe a general physics book written for the layman might be interesting if it includes stuff on QM and Relativity. I've read a few books on this stuff, written for lay readers, but they took quite a bit of effort with repeated readings and note taking. It'd be nice to find something that was a pleasant interesting read and which covered these topics. You think Max Jammer's stuff is too difficult?
Maybe one of Max Jammer's books would be good for a discussion? I haven't read any, but would you know of a good one for our group?
