On June 2, 2012, the Canadian Association for Equality will host leaders from a campus groups at the University of Toronto to network, brainstorm and plan future event. Please join us!
We will be meeting both in person for those who can make it to the University of Toronto and we’ll have a remote connection for those who prefer to join that way. This is an ideal opportunity to network and brainstorm with representatives from a variety of Universities. We should be having reps join us from U of T, York, Guelph, McMaster, Western and other schools.
As a quick aside, we wanted to share exciting news of a $30,000 Men’s Centre that may be opening soon at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. The media story this has engendered speaks to the opportunities, challenges and significance of advancing public awareness and education of the issues we are interested in here. If you can meeting in person: Meet at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Room 4-414 (4th floor) at 252 Bloor Street West (near the St. George subway station) at the University of Toronto. You can arrive anytime starting at 1:00pm EDT.
Remotely: Join us via skype or telephone from 2:00 – 4:00pm EDT. Please be on skype by 1:45pm EDT for connection.
