Hello all. I recently moved to Cincinnati from Fort Lauderdale and I am interested in meeting new people in the area. I am a bit shy, so I figured what better way to socialize than to network with others.

Why do you want to join this Meetup group?

I have been divorced for five years and I have, since, not allowed myself to be open and trusting enough to get into another serious relationship. I have dated, but once it gets to the point of sharing personal information and feeling emotions for the person, I back off. I am now in the mindset that I will be single forever and that is okay with me. I believe I can learn and grow from other women's experiences and insight. I am also joining this group for social networking with other women in the area.

Seems like the Success Driven Cincy group () no longer has an organizer. I'm suggesting that we move to the newly created Success Driven Cincy Facebook group.

    Ananda Cincinnati Meditation Group

Welcome, Stephanie, to Ananda Cincinnati's Meetup. The distractions you describe are very common in today's society, as you know! All of them can be made more manageable through meditation and yoga. The key is regular, dedicated practice and seeking the Divine within. Another element is to study the teachings and ancient wisdom that underlie these practices. The grounding and inner peace you seek have their source there. We hope to meet you in person some Sunday, and help you further!
