New Meetup: ABCs of Trading - Fibonacci Beyond the Bounce - Saturday July 17 10 am-Noon

From: Chris K.
Sent on: Tuesday, July 6, 2010 3:13 PM
Join veteran trader Steve Bobbitt as he demonstrates how to use Fibonacci tools to identify outstanding trading opportunities in any time frame.

Fibonacci is a powerful trading concept. Most traders use them to find corrective retracements, however, Fibonacci can also used to project targets. Harmonics is an advanced Fibonacci technique used to do just that. Using the A/B/C set-up as a centerpiece, Harmonics uses multiple Fibonacci extensions to zero-in on and project turning points.

About Steve Bobbitt:

Steve Bobbitt has been active in the markets since 1990. He has successfully traded various products including equities, mutual funds, ETFs, options, commodities, metals, and futures. Steve compiles numerous facets of data on the various futures products and incorporates them into his trading strategies. As a student of the markets, Steve studies the works of early market pioneers such as H.M. Gartley and Ralph Nelson Elliot and applies various Fibonacci techniques in conjunction with their work. As a result, his strategies revolve around simplicity and higher probability set-ups.

Steve holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration. Steve is a contributing author to Futures Magazine, and he is a frequent presenter for the Arizona Council on Economic Education in support of bringing economic literacy back to the classroom.

What students are saying about Steve Bobbitt:

"Steve is a pro and did an excellent job of expanding the use of Fibonacci for futures trading and provided the students with a specific, useful, compelling trading approach. Steve did an excellent job of making the class a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and provided individual attention as needed. He was tireless in answering questions and was cheerful about reviewing content until all got it." Paul, August 2009

"Steve Bobbitt is a great instructor. He gave me a road map well beyond theory, so I am very enthusiastic about futures trading. Before taking Steve's class I was like a plane without the runway to take off or to land. Now I know where to take off and where to land; essentially, the most important lesson for the pilot. I really enjoyed his class and teaching style. He went beyond just teaching us the book. He went deep into his personal experiences and personal style. He willingly shared with us all his knowledge and body of work, both successes and failures. He made the class enjoyable and fun." Andrea, August 2009

"Steve was a great instructor and well qualified. Steve took the time after class one night for the students that took the e-mini class last month and anyone else who had some questions and wanted a quick refresher." Joan, August 2009

"Steve Bobbitt was very thoughtful and patient with the attendees. He added a lot of extra wisdom and practical tips throughout, all with a great sense of humor. He put me at ease personally." Bernice, August 2009

"Steve Bobbitt has a keen eye for pin pointing market targets based on technical analysis, and is very patient in making sure that students understand his methodology." Robert June, 2009

"Steve is an incredibly thorough and patient instructor. His ability to get the information across through a sound technical and down to earth approach has made his class a very enjoyable experience." Dan, July 2009
