Hello Everyone,

The focus of this evening will be the many ways we seek love and approval by looking at our relationships at home, at work, in school, present and past.

Here is a short story: A new couple was having breakfast and she served him her favorite breakfast: oatmeal. He didn't mention that he hated oatmeal, because he didn't want any disagreement between them, especially after they'd just had sex. He didn't question the thought that telling her the truth would displease her. After they got married, she often served him oatmeal, and he continued to eat it. He thought that if he admitted his loathing for oatmeal now, he would displease her even more, since it would reveal that he'd been dishonest for a long time. He would rather eat oatmeal than face what he believed his wife would think of him if he told her the truth. And oatmeal is what he's still eating for breakfast, twenty-three years later.

Where is the oatmeal in your life? What automatic beliefs do you employ to keep yourself safe, to gain approval, accolades, and love, from the people in your life? By using The Work, you start to unmask and peel away those subtle and pervasive beliefs that are ruling your life, and making you unhappy.

Four questions and the turnarounds will open your mind to a whole new world:
Is it true?
Can you absolutely know that it's true?
How do you react when you believe that thought?
Who would you be without the thought?

I will introduce you to inquiry, model it and facilitate you if you would like to try it. For those with experience there may be opportunity for partner and group exercises. Come if you want to find truth and peace and learn this simple way of dealing with your stressful thinking. All that's required is an open mind...
Email or call me with your questions.

Thank you for peace.
