This seminar is intentionally limited to 20 participants and will have 2 or more hosts. The format will be part lecture, part tasting, and part interactive exercises.
Participants are encouraged to bring one bottle of their favorite wine - We'll help you learn about it, why you like it, and what else to look for.
The tasting format
- The basics to wine tasting (common terms) - The actual tasting process - Q & A time for food and wine style pairing
You must click the paypal link and pay in advance before coming. If you RSVP yes please insure you do this. There is a 48 hour cancellation notice required for refund.
The cost is $20 per person and this goes towards the venue and wine supplied by presenters.
Bring one bottle of their favorite wine
In the seminar, you will learn some things to pair with your favorite wine. In my opinion, however, nothing pairs better than Art.
And that's why we are very lucky to have the opportunity to host the event at the Grunt Gallery just off Main st and 2nd.
grunt gallery is an artist-run center formed in 1984. They program exhibitions, performances, artist talks, publications and special projects.
The current exhibit is amazing: BLIZZARD: Emerging Northern Artists looks at indigenous artists working in the North who are using their traditions to forge new ideas around contemporary art. The exhibition and publication, in development for over two years, looks at the influence of Inuit and Northern traditional art forms and how these are translated by a younger generation of artists whose roots are in the North.
