Tastes of India Cooking Class!

"I've always wanted to learn how to cook Indian food but I just don't know where to start!"

Does that sound like you? Are you in love with Indian food but don't know how to use the aromatic spices? Use this great opportunity to attend a mini session with Pooja Barooah of Tastes of India in Sooke as we learn to cook 3 appetizers with an authentic home cook!

We will be learning how to make:

Pakoras

A inside-out samosa

Chicken masala tikka

In this special mini class designed just for you Pooja will provide the ingredients and will show you how to make these appetizers. We will then have the opportunity to enjoy your masterpieces in a beautiful setting at the Sooke Harbour House.

The cost of the this meet up is $20 for annual membership holders or $25 drop in.

Pooja Barooah is a full-time mom who moved to Sooke in 2013.  She was born and brought up in India, but has spent a large part of her life in the UK and Dubai.  Pooja love to cook, and feels fortunate to have a business that lets her fulfil her passion!

Ideally, we will be arranging car pooling for our Sooke road trip.

Heather, this looks awesome! So sorry to miss--my husband is out of town working, and can't get a babysitter every night! : ( Happy to spend time alone with my son, sad to miss cooking and eating Indian food...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
