Learn to cook simple gourmet meals at home!

Each Meetup will be focused on a specific menu, which will be posted online. We will start with a cooking demo, and possibly minimal hands-on participation. You will learn how to cook a simple, healthy, tasty gourmet meal at home. Afterwards, everyone will sit down and enjoy the full-size lunch or dinner that was prepared. Recipe cards and any remaining left-overs will be yours to take home!

Menus will focus on using fresh ingredients, with dishes made from scratch. We WILL use things like salt, sugar and cream..."everything in moderation." What we WON'T use is a lot of artificial ingredients. If you have any special dietary restrictions, please let me know.

Cost of each Meetup will vary, depending upon ingredients used for the meal. Meetups will generally be limited to 6 attendees for full meals, possibly more for meetups that focus on appetizers or dinner parties. Payment will be required at the time of RSVP. Since I'll be purchasing ingredients ahead of time, refunds for cancelling your RSVP will only be given up to 5 days prior to each meetup.

Once the meetup group is well-established, I will open up the opportunity for members to host future meetups in their own homes/kitchens - I'll still provide all the ingredients and the cooking demo - host may provide a bottle of wine, but will otherwise receive the meetup event for free in exchange for it being hosted in his or her home.
