Shadowrun 4th Edition

We will be meeting roughly every two weeks, though that may change from time to time, based on the group's needs. The year is 2074, and we're primarily based out of Seattle in-game.

Last session, the team got embroiled in the battle for leadership of the infamous Seattle go-gang, the Ancients. It was apparently a scavenger hunt of sorts, with the team doing the dirty work of the gang, dressed in their colors and driving a Rover with their logos (in addition to many of their own vehicles, considering the size of the group).

First, they visited a local pimp who was bragging about having elven girls. He and his brothers were handled nicely and brought back to the Ancients for whatever punishment the gang thought best.

Second, they hit a local bar that is frequented by the Spikes, a rival all-troll gang trying to move in on the Ancients' turf. With a few well-placed white phosphorous grenades, including one in the face of a particularly unlucky troll (how did he even stay standing?!), they lit the whole place up and motored away, having recorded the whole scene for the gang via their cyber-eyes.

Finally, they went to hijack a dog-brained truck that was driving through the barrens. At that point, their rivals showed up and after a long stand off (no spells or firearms were allowed by the rules, and no lethal force of any kind!), they chased the other team off with a single measly crate of cargo while the team managed to grab the entire truck itself. Those Laes pukes made some pretty fancy moves getting away, but they sure got their noses bloodied! If only the fancy-shmancy elf hadn't tried to leap from his motorcycle to the back of the truck, causing the mage to crash!

After all that, at the end of the hour when they got back, they actually pulled it off and won for Belial, son of the previous Ancients leader (and current regional lieutenant) Green Lucifer, making him the new leader over the Ancients.

This group certainly seems to keep getting their hands in some sticky situations, and not the usual type (if there is such a thing) for shadowrunners! What will this next time bring?

Just a reminder if you haven't done this: If you want to put together a list of thing you would like to try to track down (equipment, etc.) during your in-game month of downtime, let me know and I'll roll everything up and have a list of what you were able to get when we meet up next Saturday. Just email me the list and let me know what priority each thing is.
