Excellent new venue, great group, very interesting and well done presentation by Barb about Shetland Wool Week
I probably will not be able to join the group until January as my oldest son is getting married in Jamiaca in December. So hopefully I will see you in January. Oh, by the way Barb you are very funny.

Thanks! I hope that everyone agrees with you about my warped sense of humour. See you in the New Year and have fun in Jamaica.
I have found excellent maps, suggestions for all kinds of parking, free and paid, and also an interior layout of the first and second floor of the library (we're in the Birch room [or was that the Bitch Room, sorry]) at this website:http://www.sclibrary.ab.ca/Feast your eyes and we'll see you tonight!
*grumble grumble* Sometimes having to highway drive to get anywhere is a real pain. Wanted to go last Tiramisu-meet, but got snowed in, so waiting for the next north-end meetup. COME ON, WEATHER ... COOPERATE!

I don't know where the library is in Sherwood Park. I wouldn't mind some easy to follow directions. My home address is[masked] Street. However I will no be able to join until January or February.
Try using google maps. That site has a "directions" tab that will give you step by step written directions and a handy map. If it weren't for that map, I wouldn't be able to leave home. Lol!
We have the reservation, however, we can only get the room until 8:30 because the library closes at 9:00. Barb Schweger will be speaking about her recent trip to Scotland.
Darn, would have loved to hear that but I am in Calgary on business.
I have had to work on Wednesday nights since i came back from holidays :( We will be finishing our Violence Reduction Action Strategy - Community Safety Conversations on November 21st. Hope to be able to join you all November 28th. I have been knitting Xmas gifts for my family and friends on my spare time
Hi, I live in Millwoods and would like to join a group close to were I live. Kathy

A new location! Thanks to Anna. Parking should be across the street for free or underground for a charge. Tea and coffee are available at the coffee shop by the library and we can take drinks into the library.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
