Having been to only 30 countries, I have a 166 to go. I teach English as a Second Language to adultsthe here in DC, so have lots of international cultural communication but want to get my feet on the ground in many more places.
Karen, welcome to the Global Affairs Discussion Group (GADG) at UUCF. We have a particularly interesting guest for our Dec. 4th session on "Diasporas and International Development: The In-Between Advantage." The presenter will be using examples from her research in Africa. Our sessions are non-secular, however, UU issues of social justice and inequity naturally are a thematic strand that runs through many of our discussions. I look forward to meeting you.
