“No matter how much someone wishes to love others, it’s simply not possible without growing the heart. When we understand that only a mature heart can be the source of true and constant love, we realize that it is imperative for us to learn how the heart is meant to grow. No matter what else we do, the primary focus of life – thoughts, words and actions- should be on the growth of the heart in all its different realms. As we grow in the realms of the heart, we become able to see, feel and understand people around us. Therefore, our relationships with others become deeper."...Mehrdad

All of Mehrdad's talks are really good. This particular one for me was really awesome! This is what I learned from it:

"Affirmations" are not just a mundane exercise of simply repeating positive ideas but serve a greater function of changing the damaging "program" that we carry around in our mind. "Trying" to love is a step in the right direction but does not transform us. "Being" love is what helps us shift to a "higher dimention of living" and that is when we see the change in our life situation and the "difficult" people we encounter.

"Success" is not a destination but a journey. Awareness of success of every step of the journey is as important as the ultimate goal.

"suffering" in this world is a result of humanity having forgotten their "true" identity which is "love" and a realization of "oneness" of our existence.

Thank you Mehrdad for this talk and for taking the teaching to the next level. It was very helpful.
