Welcome to the Wellingborough and Kettering Over 40’s Social Group. Although we welcome members from all areas, this group has been created for the benefit of people in their 40s and over, based in the Wellingborough, Kettering and surrounding areas who would like to get out a bit more to socialise with like-minded people who either do not drive or prefer to attend more local events. This group welcomes both men and women regardless of their marital status or background.  Although we would stress that this is not a ‘singles’ group the majority of our members are single!

We do appreciate there are other similar meetup groups in the Northants area, however, the majority of activities offered at these groups tend to be based around the Northampton area. We also acknowledge that not everyone has pots of money so our aim is to focus on low-cost social activities such as pub meets, lunches, walks/sporting activities, cinema visits, comedy club nights etc. or even just meeting at someone’s house for a meal or a game of cards! We strongly encourage group participation and welcome suggestions/ideas for future meetups from all members. 

REMEMBER It's not how old you are but how old you feel that counts!  So why not get off your computer and start socialising!!
