Parlez-vous français? Looking to speak French? Come meet other Francophiles and Francophones pour conversation en français. At least an intermediate level of proficiency is necessary. Venez prendre un café ou thé et bavardez avec nous! The people are very nice- très sympa! They come from all over the world- at least 16 countries represented!  All ages welcome. Please note: this is not a class nor a course for those wanting to start learning French.

We meet in the back room of Panera Bread, 2542 Albany Avenue next to Staples at Bishop's Corner, West Hartford. It is in the northwest corner of the plaza. Bienvenue! We meet TWICE per month (ignore what Meetup says about only once per month) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 7-9:15 PM. We welcome new members.

Please note: Some of us might not be there exactly at 7:00.  We often work late and do our best to get there.  If you don't see anyone, just sit in the back rrom and we will join you.

Those of you needing directions to  Panera:  If you are using mapquest or GPS, it will likely send you on a long uncomfortable route.  Best: I-84, exit 43, turn RIGHT then QUICK LEFT. You will be on TroutBrook Dr.  Stay on it until the first big intersection (Albany Ave) after you pass the UCONN branch.  Turn left on Albany Ave, then turn right at the third light, into the Staples/Panera parking lot.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
