We are a group of folks passionate about citizen science with a specific interest in developing a greener future through the benefits of plants and algae. We plan to collaborate together to develop opensource protocols and technologies that can be shared among the global DIYBio community. We'll do this by teaching each other how to grow, produce, and engineer algae and plants by using the latest molecular biology techniques. We'll collaborate with other DIYBio maker spaces throughout world who share a common vision of making biology accessible to everyone.
More information can be found on our Google Group which is HERE and our website HERE. Our calendar is located HERE. We have a list of projects managed on Trello HERE which you can peruse. You can learn about the global DIYBio movement at it's main site HERE, a TED talk from an original biohacker HERE, and what's happening at other labs around the country HERE.
