Please Join Us at out January 2014 Wild Edibles Meet-Up

Please plan to attend the next Wild Edibles Meet-Up at 10 am on Saturday, January 18, 2014.

Eric Fitch, Area Manager for the Summit County Metro Parks will talk about edible and medicinal plants.  Eric’s interest in this area exploded several years ago when he was introduced to the Native American spiritual path.  He has taken classes and gathered information from elders who gather and use herbs in a sacred manner.

The event will be held at The Wilderness Center's Buckeye Room in the Hart Interpretive Building located at 9877 Alabama Avenue SW in Wilmot.  Please contact Barb at[masked] ext. 20 or email [masked] for more information.

Learn and share the basics of identifying, collecting and preparing edible wild plants.  Meet-ups are free and open to the public.

Sorry to cancel, but I live pretty far away and am worried about the roads being bad in the morning. I look forward to future meetups.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
