What is the last book you read?

I often read several books at a time, but the last one I finished was Alain de Botton's On Love.

Name your 3 favorite books and one that was just a big disappointment

It's too much of a cliche to mention Jane Austen, and it's very difficult to make a choice... So three of my favorites are: Tom Jones - Henry Fielding; Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger; and The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde. One book that I wanted so badly to like, but was just a major disappointment: Little Women - Louisa May Alcott.

Have you ever re-read a book because it was just so good?

Who is your favorite childhood author?

Beatrix Potter.

I'm a grad student in Art History, looking to read something FUN for a change! I'm interested in meeting some people who love to read as much as I do.
