This group is for anyone interested in reading biographies of famous (and not-so-famous) women of the 19th and 20th centuries -- including Coco Chanel, Frida Kahlo, Billie Holiday, Sarah Bernhardt, Eslanda Robeson, Jane Digby, Catherine the Great, and others. We meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon, at various locations in Manhattan; we also plan other events, including a "short story" Sunday (in which we each read a story by a specific author), and attend theme-related movies and documentaries.  Members will have an opportunity to select a book for the group.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
