Which genre of speculative fiction do you WRITE, e.g. fantasy, science fiction, paranormal, horror? Is there a specific subgenre you write, e.g. steampunk, YA fantasy, high fantasy, cyberpunk, dark fantasy?

time travel, space opera, etc. Mountain of Long Eyes (title story of anthology) has a Native American shaman using magic to battle domestic terrorists. Other stories in the anthology are pure SF, satire, humor, and horror.

What length and type of writing do you do: short stories, novellas, novels, screenplays, plays, or other (if other, specify)?

several professional books in the astronomy field, SF is mostly short stories with one time travel novel

Have you had any works published, and if so, what kind, e.g. short stories, novels, plays, nonfiction, poetry, or other?

Astronomy books include one on named stars and nebulas ("Useful Star Names"); another covers all stars and brown dwarfs within 20 lightyears of Earth, giving spectral class, size, mass, planets, magitude, discovery, temperature, distance, location, etc ("Our Neighbor Stars"). One astronomy book covers all 185 moons of the Solar System, with orbits, periods, size, discovery, names, etc. Similar book for asteroids.

Since some people like to read in different genres than they write, what are your favorite genres for READING?
